From its inception, Osprey Lodge was designed to be different.

That’s why when we asked the question;

“What would make it seem more like your home?”, one of the answers was,

“I want to have a dog.”

“You don’t mean a real dog?”

“Yeah, a real dog. You know like the one I had at home.”

“Do you want to feed it and take care of it?”

“Hmmn, well maybe sometimes.”

“Okay, so you mean something small, like a Toy Poodle.”

“Maybe, but maybe also a Lab. Yeah a great big furry yellow one.”

Well if it really is man’s best friend, then we were determined to make it happen.

So here at Osprey Lodge, we created a special place for “Fido” where residents can enjoy interaction with our furry friends whenever they like, giving them one more reason to call this special place home.

Oh, by the way, the experts now agree that having a pet can enhance the quality of life for Seniors by helping overcome loneliness, enhance self worth, reduce stress and anxiety and even lower blood pressure. Surprise, surprise.
